Let’s All Celebrate the Man Behind Our Passion for the Prancing Horse!

For many, a love for speed begins in childhood—and for legends like Charles Leclerc and Enzo Ferrari, that passion shaped their entire lives. Enzo’s spark ignited in 1908 at the Coppa Florio, inspiring a journey from his father’s workshop to the racetrack.

By 1919, he was competing professionally, soon earning victories with Alfa Romeo and forging relationships that would define Ferrari’s identity—including the iconic prancing horse, gifted by Countess Paolina Baracca for good fortune.

Enzo retired from racing after the birth of his son Dino, but his passion only shifted gears. In 1932, Scuderia Ferrari emerged, carrying the prancing horse and a new mission: to build a racing legacy. Enzo personally selected every driver, trusting only those who shared his instinct and fire—names like Lauda and Villeneuve among them.

Ferrari’s story has always been about passion rediscovered, talent refined, and a relentless drive to push beyond limits.
